First Impressions/Layout:
My first impression of Kaytlin-Star is, ..interesting. There is a lot of brown and some turquoise-y blue.
Your font is easy to read BIG plus. Most sites have size 5 fonts that NO ONE can read. Not even super man…anyways. I wish there was a tad more color to the layout, but otherwise so far it looks amazing! The rating for First Impressions is a 9/10!

Blog:
Your current blog post titled “Deja Vu (the bad kind)” is the one I will be reading mainly. Your blog is very interesting and entertaining for the readers. It actually made me laugh. Sadly, yes I’ve had that feeling many times to answer your question. xD The rating for Blog is a 15 out of 15!

Content/Pages:
“Kaytlin”: This page I like a lot, considering you talk about yourself but you don’t go wayyy to overboard and make the reader drowsy (always a plus), I was actually able to finish it. You have links at the top to places for things like your cats, and contact form. The thing I like most about these links at the top is the asterisk. Then you tell everyone that the site will take them to an external link, I hate when I go to a random, click one of their links, and then it take me to some off the wall website without me knowing. This page gets a 5/5~!

“Site Info”: This page is very nice for people curious as to how long you’ve been a web-designer, I just wish it told a little bit more about previous websites leading to this one! Which I’m sure is by far the best! This page also tells people you are VERY complete in seeing to it that you have 100% valid coding and your site is it’s absolute best. I also double checked to make sure you weren’t a fake, and CONGRATULATIONS…someone knows the value of the truth! This page gets a 4/5!

“Content”: As I click this link, I love the fact that you actually have some. Your writing areas are excellent! Ever think of becoming a debate teacher? By reading your opinions and such I think you can put up a good argument and get your point across. Now on to your Mini Gradients, these are okay, most people would already be able to make their own, MOST likely, but I love the fact that you have them for people who aren’t able too. Your patterns are VERY nice! Most people cannot create gingham patterns that work correctly, yet you have mastered this. Your lines and polka dots are also very nicely made! Wow, your brushes are fantastic, remind me to get the music notes later haha. Your textures are nice, and look like they would work magic. Your icons are super cute, sadly there are only six! I would love to see more, I also love how they are not crummy celebs! The last part of your content are your premade layouts. I love how you give the same quality you have on your site to your visitors and not some crappily coated, garbage worthy layout. You don’t trash them with celebrities either. This section in my opinion gets a whopping 38/40 points. (40 because you have 8 pages times 5 points per page).

Overall:
Overall I think your site has major potential. It is definitely one I wouldn’t mind coming back to. Although I must say your bright white writing looks very nice on the dark brown, but after reading your WHOLE site, and all of your pages, my eyes do hurt a tad! Your site is amazing keep up the excellent work!
